These hisi bowls were my homemade bowls when I have to smoke out of Pringles cans nd highlighter cap as a bol with aluminum poke holes on them just like this.
United StatesHISI 14MM DRAIN BOWL
I purchased two of the HISI 14mm Drain Bowl's, the size is alright but the inner glass at the bottom of the bowl is paper thin. I destroyed the 1st one pushing my pinky through the glass while cleaning it with a paper towel after using it about 5 times, considering the price of the bowl you'd be inclined to think the glass would be more evenly proportioned & not have ultra thin spots causing breakage from a simple cleaning. It's not like I was bearing down on the bowl with 50,000lbs of pressure with my PINKY & a paper towel...& let's not forget the bowl was only used about 5-6 times. Soooo there shouldn't be a retort about heat stressing, & I wasn't using a blow torch either... Simply put It's nothing more than manufacturers error & QC wasn't doing there job that day...

Been looking for a good bowl with a built in screen or drain style. I ordered several of the GRAV Octabowl from here since these were out of stock for a while. I like the Octabowl, but those were hit or miss for me. The criss-cross glass for the screen in the Octabowl may have good sized holes, or small ones. I got two that are good, another one clogs after just a few sessions, so not usable for me. When these came back in stock, I picked one up and I'm in love. So far I've used it for multiple sessions/day for over a week and it still hits great. No clogs at all. Needless to say, I came back here and ordered two more of these for other pipes I have and so that I've got a backup. I still like and use the Octabowl, but this will give you many more sessions without having to be cleaned. Of course, it lets a bit more ash through, but that's to be expected. I'm not too lazy to clean my equipment, but I prefer to do it on weekends and have it remain functional for me all week. Winner, winner, chicken dinner with this bowl for me. Kind of expensive compared to the Grav, but this is the best bowl I've found that has a drain/built in screen that is this clog-resistant. I currently own three, but will replace them if/when needed.
