Personal Bonifidis: My evaluation is coming from a 67 yr. old with 53 yr's of on the job training. I've been primarily using a 12" beaker with asundry of catchers from 1983. PRODUCT EVALUATION: I was intrigued from the onset with the design. However, when first recieved in it's well secured packaging I was initially sceptical of the structural integrity. It appears fragile. So far it has held up amorabely. The preformance, in a word, WOW! I've used dozens of AC's over the years but Ive never used one that has had better preformance! Impressed and elated adjectives aren't expressive enough to describe my experience with this product. It's a true beast of an add-on to your rig. My rig has never been cleaner. I put 1.5" of water and two ice cubes in the chamber and it delivers cool strong milky rips. The Phoenix is a breeze to clean. I still have some concerns regarding the fragility of the 45degree model. I would have more confidence if it had a support tied to the chamber. I never right product reviews but I'm so impressed with the form and function of the Phoenix Ashcatcher I had to take the time to give my impression of the product. Sorry it's so long but it helps.

I've been on the search for a solid ash catcher. I've tried a couple off brand cheap cheap. Spent a little more money, finally was able to snag one of these... They are like always out of stock ...and I love it. Shipping wasn't too bad, glass came intact.
